Case Studies

Three projects where the brief went well beyond supplying equipment.

IIT Jodhpur — Audio & Video Production Studio
Case study

IIT Jodhpur — Audio & Video Production Studio

Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur

The challenge

The institute needed a full production studio, but only had bare shell space — no acoustics, no HVAC, no lighting grid and no AV infrastructure.

What we did

We took the project turnkey: civil works, acoustic treatment, HVAC, studio lighting and the complete AV chain — cameras, switching, audio and recording.

The result

A working production studio delivered under a single contract, with no coordination gaps between civil, mechanical and AV vendors.

IIT Delhi — IRD Conference Room
Case study

IIT Delhi — IRD Conference Room

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Industrial Research & Development

The challenge

A long boardroom where every seat needs to hear, be heard and see the content — and where meetings are run by people who should not have to call for AV support to start one.

What we did

An Evota 110-inch interactive panel as the main display with repeater screens down both side walls, a Lumens PTZ camera, 27 Sennheiser boundary microphones into a QSC DSP, and JBL amplification and speakers. An ATEN HDMI switcher and a USB switcher feed four table cable cubbies.

The result

The room runs four ways without help: video conference straight from the panel, wireless screen share over Wi-Fi, video conference from a laptop at the table using the room camera and microphones, or plain wired HDMI. We left a one-page guide on the wall with a QR code to the full manual.

Ministry of Food Processing Industries — Conference Room
Case study

Ministry of Food Processing Industries — Conference Room

Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, New Delhi

The challenge

A 24-seat ministry conference room where delegates sit far from the main screen, and where sessions have to be joined remotely without anyone fiddling with a camera.

What we did

A Cypress 4x2 HDMI matrix takes two laptop inputs from table cable managers: output one drives the main display, output two feeds four repeater displays and a Wacom Cintiq 24 pen display through a splitter. A Lumens VC-A53 PTZ camera handles video conferencing. Fifteen Sennheiser MEB 114S boundary microphones run into a QSC Core 24F DSP for echo cancellation, mixing and routing, with a QSC SPA4-100 amplifier driving eight ceiling speakers across two zones.

The result

A Sennheiser MAS 1 Look At Me button, wired through a QSC QIO-GP GPIO interface, turns the camera to whoever is speaking. The Wacom runs over CAT6 using Cypress CH730 extenders, so it can sit up to 100 m from the rack.

IIT Delhi — DIA Centre of Excellence, RNI Park
Case study

IIT Delhi — DIA Centre of Excellence, RNI Park

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, DIA Centre of Excellence

The challenge

A collaboration room where the head of department needs to drive and mark up content live, while remote participants still see whoever is talking.

What we did

An 86-inch interactive display with a 20x zoom video conferencing camera, BXB chairman and delegate microphones through a central control unit, DSP and amplifier to ceiling speakers, and a side display for the room.

The result

A Look At Me system points the camera at the active speaker, and a 24-inch Wacom touch display lets the head of department view, control and annotate content in front of the room and the remote side at once.

University of Delhi — Department of Chemistry
Case study

University of Delhi — Department of Chemistry

University of Delhi, Department of Chemistry, North Campus

The challenge

A 120-seat seminar hall expected to do three different jobs — departmental meetings, video conferencing, and recording and streaming of lectures — without a technician in the room for each one.

What we did

A Sony VPL-PHZ5 5000-lumen laser projector, a Lumens VCTR1 auto-tracking camera alongside a Lumens VCR30 PTZ camera, Sennheiser gooseneck, lavalier and handheld microphones with a CHG 4N charging bay, a Xilica Solaro FR1 DSP, and a Bose P2600 amplifier driving six Bose DM6SE speakers. A Lumens LC200 handles capture and streaming, with a Cypress CUSB-V604H for USB capture.

The result

Delivered on GeM contract GEMC-511687711181046 for Rs 16.7 lakh, inside a two-week delivery window, with three years of onsite comprehensive warranty and two days of training for department staff.

NDDTC Ghaziabad — Smart Classroom
Case study

NDDTC Ghaziabad — Smart Classroom

National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, AIIMS

The challenge

A bare room that had to become a working smart classroom — and a client who did not want to coordinate a civil contractor, an HVAC contractor, a furniture supplier and an AV integrator separately.

What we did

One contract for the whole room. On the AV side: a PeopleLink R86 interactive panel, a PeopleLink iCam WHD 1080 12x PTZ camera, a PeopleLink E-Podium Ultra digital lectern, two UHF wireless microphones, wall speakers, and a Lumens LC100 for lecture capture. On the room side: false ceiling, wall panelling and joinery, three Daikin air conditioners, 25 student chairs plus faculty furniture, a BPE UPS and the complete electrical.

The result

A finished classroom handed over on a single GeM contract worth Rs 34.03 lakh — one vendor, one scope, one point of accountability.

NHPC — Smart Training Hall
Case study

NHPC — Smart Training Hall

NHPC Limited

The challenge

A training hall on the second floor that had to support large-audience presentation, hybrid sessions and clear speech reinforcement, with the camera following the trainer rather than sitting static.

What we did

A 98-inch interactive panel with a built-in OPS i5 PC, a 4K PTZ 12x speaker-tracking camera plus an HD PTZ 20x camera, a 4K HDMI switcher with inbuilt display and HDMI-to-USB capture, three digital wireless microphone sets (two handheld and one lapel each), a DSP with AEC and phantom power, four thin-edge coaxial ceiling loudspeakers on a quad-channel amplifier, and a PoE switch with the full AV cabling and cable cubby.

The result

Supplied, installed, tested and commissioned as a single scope of work worth Rs 30 lakh, with the balance released against performance over twelve quarterly instalments.

J C Bose University (YMCA), Faridabad — Recording & Streaming Rooms
Case study

J C Bose University (YMCA), Faridabad — Recording & Streaming Rooms

J C Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad

The challenge

The university needed several identical rooms that could record and stream sessions to the same standard, so content produced in any one of them would look and sound the same.

What we did

Three matching setups built around Datavideo PTC-140 PTZ cameras and Datavideo NVS-40 streaming and recording encoders, with Blackmagic mini converters to SDI, HDMI-to-USB capture, Soundcraft Notepad 8 mixers, AKG K240 Studio monitoring headphones, ceiling mount kits and Canare and Belden cabling — finished with acoustic carpet flooring.

The result

Three rooms delivered to one specification and one operating procedure, so staff trained in one room can run any of them.

IIT Delhi — DMS Board Room
Case study

IIT Delhi — DMS Board Room

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Department of Management Studies

The challenge

A board room that has to work equally well for a presentation to the people in the room and for a meeting where half the participants are remote — without a different set of instructions for each.

What we did

Sixteen Sennheiser wired boundary layer microphones across the table into a QSC DSP and amplifier feeding ceiling speakers, a Lumens video conferencing camera, and an 85-inch LG display.

The result

A Look At Me system turns the camera to whoever is speaking, so the room runs the same way whether the session is a local presentation or a video conference.

HERC Panchkula — Commission Hall
Case study

HERC Panchkula — Commission Hall

Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, Panchkula

The challenge

A regulatory commission hall where around two dozen participants each need a microphone, proceedings have to stay intelligible, and outside parties join remotely.

What we did

A Heinrich chairman and delegate microphone system of around 23 units running through a central control unit, DSP and amplifier to ceiling speakers, an 85-inch Samsung display with a Panasonic video conferencing camera, an ATEN switcher with five table cable managers, and O General air conditioning.

The result

Each seat has its own microphone under central control, so the chair can manage who speaks, and remote participants hear one clean processed feed instead of a room full of open microphones.
